Seldén’s 2420 section is the only round Cadet section with an integrally extruded sail track - this means that all of the material contributes to the overall stiffness of the spar and results in an unbeatable stiffness for weight ratio, and minimum height C of G.

We recommend a circular section for a spreaderless rig as its relatively high sideways stiffness gives additional sideways support. The integral track also ensures that the track remains attached to the spars for life.
