Developed with Mike McNamara and Mike Holmes, the Seldén Cumulus section is ideally suited to the Albacore. The new section is lighter than the orginal sleeved ’D’ section, with an improved taper, creating a moreDYNAMIC rig. With similar ’static’ stiffness, existing mainsail luff curves will suit, with the speed and reward coming from the more user-friendly section.

The Cumulus rig won the 2004 National Championships and is the standard supplied mast with all new Speed Sails boats.

Our 2633 boom section, with outboard end cutaway for minimum weight and all important water clearance, has the ultimate stiffness.
